Did I Just Win The Heater Box Lottery?

On the way to church tonight and the wife is complaining that she is hot (yes you are babe ? )

Temp is set at 68 and my side is blowing cool air but her side is blowing out warm air.

She was able to get cool air by running her side down to 65.

No noise at all.

I experienced this once earlier and showed it to the dealer service advisor, but of course they were unable to duplicate so nothing was done.

Glad I have the extended warranty if this does turn out to be the heater box.

Sounds like you did. Find the bulletin and mention it to the dealer. Chances are that will help the process

Not to be a downer, but my experience with this problem has been erratic temperature adjustments first but it gets worse over time. Hopefully this does not happen to you. To duplicate this problem to the dealer for me I have to drive say 30 minutes or so with the ac or heat on, then when I shut the truck off the blend doors click when they close and reset themselves.

Sometimes if its failing but not broken yet you can try adjusting the temperature high as it can go then low again so the blend doors have to adjust. If you hear clicking then, that is a bad sign.

When mine went the mechanic at the dealer noticed a lot of random 22 shell casing around the interior of my truck and said if he found any foreignobjects in my heater box it wouldvoid my warranty. Luckily nothing went down the dash vents.
