I have not touched a piston aircraft since A&P School - I have worked many fleets and engine types over the years from the B-1900 (Smallest) to the B-777 (Largest)
Which are all -Jet-A (Kerosene Based)

Thanks for that. Yes during Covid here our local refinery had a massive stockpile of Turbine fuel because there were next to no flights (refinery is almost right next to the airport) and ended up reprocessing it as diesel for local transport consumption.

That and ring end gaps let oil into the combustion chamber.

And most turbo charged engines have an oil jet pointed to the underside of the piston as well for crown cooling.

If it proves to be a clogged injector, then this is another reason to stay with top tier gasoline, and a can of Techron in the tank prior to each oil change.

Keep those injectors functioning in tip top shape.

Just buy gas at Texaco or Chevron, it already has the Techron in it.

That's great if you been doing so since the vehicle was new, but not sufficient if you have been using mainstream (cheap) gas for >20K miles (that number is random, but makes my point), The can is roughly a 10x more powerful cleaning agent than the gas coming out the pump.

I'm sure there is an optimum mix that cleans without damaging the turbo, but I am not sure where it is. I'm also not sure if the Top Tier gas stops or simply slows the buildup. Hence my can every 6 months or so just before oil changes. I consider it $10 worth of insurance.
