This is in Tucson and the exits (most) are farther apart than up in Phoenix.

In Phoenix I've seen cars going 80 mph cross over 5 lanes to exit because they were too lazy to go to the next one and circle back. We saw a good one as we were going west bound in the east bound lane. A car was flying down the HOV lane and I saw him shoot across traffic to exit at Dysart. All I saw after that was brake lights and parts flying in my mirrors.

Well common sense says to go to the next exit but we all know there's very little of that now. If you have it it's more of a curse than a blessing now.

Exactly, that whole stretch is much like our 401. It also doesn’t help when you have passengers hollering.

Ex-wife: What are you doing? That’s our exit! You’re missing it! GET OVER!!!
Duke: 🎶🎵 Yeah, I see it.🎶🎵
Ex-wife: Well, we missed it! I told you to get over! Now what?
Duke: 🎶🎵See that sign?

I asked Gemini, it recommended HandBrake. So far so good.

Forgot I had a rear camera view.

Unfortunately this happens everywhere now. It's like everyone forgot how to drive and they think they're the only ones on the road now. 🤦‍♂️

It's even worse here with all the snowbirds. Now we have about 12,000 more people here with the average age of 74 from all across the country. It's like playing Russian Roulette every day you're out there driving. This is just one of the recent accidents at our local Safeway. Lord knows how she managed to go up on the concrete and make it as far as she did. Oh, and she's facing the wrong direction that's facing incoming traffic.:facepalm:

All they build around here these days is roundabouts and people just don't understand how they work.
Those are everywhere here and no one here knows how to use them either. It's whoever is in the roundabout has the right of way and then you merge into it when it's free.

We have a variety of 1 lane, 2 lane and roundabouts with 2 lanes in one direction and 1 lane the other direction and people can't wrap their brains around them. Pretty simple really.

I get mad at the ones in front waiting for the light to change. Oh yeah, no light.:punch:

That's too hard to understand! Actually roundabouts work quite well if they are used properly.

We had them back in MA so I'm use to them, one had 7 streets intersecting into it. . Now even if there's a couple streets waiting to merge into it I just go as soon as I see an opening. Otherwise you'll be stuck there waiting for the others trying to figure them out.

Same here, more and more are being built. I don’t think anyone over 60 here ever encountered these during driver’s ed (if they took it) or their license exam. Sure, folks should be keeping up to speed on all new rules of the road, but in reality, that just doesn’t happen.

To make it worse, they’re being installed in rural areas where folks have a hard enough time stopping where there are giant stop signs, flashing lights, and rumble strips. Lord knows what they must think of roundabouts. At different times, I asked my mom, a cousin and a cottage neighbour if they knew how they worked. They all gave the same answer: “Yeah, it’s just like a 4-way stop, you alternate.”

How about the city doing a roundabout through a railroad track! That's what planned here.
And to those under 75 wait your turn folks it's coming!! Practice more defense driving and allow more time to your destination.

There is an area here where there are two back to back lights, with 4 roads joining the main road. They are planning a double roundabout, looks like an 8.

I've been through a few of those. They're easy if
A: you know how they work
and
B: you're paying attention
