I had to change out my LCA because the ball joint was bad while doing so my CV axle got over extended but i thought i got it straight and back together and then I reassembled it. When i test drove it there was a squeaking on rotation and upon inspection i could see more play in the inner joint than usual. I then tore it all apart again and pulled the CV and pushed it back in as straight as possible. It appeared to be rotating fine afterwards so i put it all back together. Again during my test drive the CV was squeaking on rotation. Is it just bad and i need to replace it or should i keep trying to fix it?
