Anyone else get this warning and if so what was the root cause?

I thought sensors were blocked by salt & sand used on the roads so cleaned the four sensors on the front & rear bumpers and no change. Did I miss any? Still under warranty so I’m not too concerned because us BOOMERS learned to drive before all the GEE WHIZ add-ons.

UPDATE: the Indicator/Switch on the console is Illuminated showing OFF and cycling switch does nothing.

Mine did that couple weeks ago. Sensors on the rear were covered with snow/ice. Wiped 'em off and notification went away!

Any ice build up on the sensors? On my Lariat 2019 when my front ones get coated in snow/slush /mud I push the off button on. The console for the sensors that beep when you get to close and it silences it.

Might be a bad sensor or wire. When mine get dirty or blocked I just get them going off and showing which sensor is blocked. Thankfully it only goes off if your under 5 mph. Just real annoying at stop lights, then I just turn them off until I can clear it.

I realize that (read your post) however a thin coat of ice will set them off. I wiped mine off and in a few minutes in freezing drizzle they went off again, stopped and found I could see the sensor perfectly but it had that thin coat that came off in a disc and they didn't go off after that, although I was by then almost home.

Like I said, NOT dirty or blocked. It is probably a bad or failed senor or a wiring problem. Something is telling the truck there is a problem.

There is a long list of things that will generate that message, but to view individual DTC to pinpoint which sensor is generating it you need to hook up Forscan to see it.
However, I have noted you cleaned sensors - did you clean all 8 of them? There are 4 in front and 4 in back and when researching the Ranger while waiting for build. I spoke with an owner I ran into at Wal-Mart and he stated that any snow or ice buildup, the sensors will fault and advised me to keep a rag in the truck, I have confirmed since the first snow that he was correct, the rear sensors are the worst along with the rear camera getting covered with salt & sand, I also wipe down rear tail lights as a precaution since it also includes a sensor module. One other spot that needs to be kept clean is the area in front of the Rear View Mirror on the windshield.

As long as your at it clean the radar sensor in the lower grill if you have it. It being blocked or dirty will not only disable ACC, but will also disable AEB.

I have never had a dirty or covered parking sensor give me that message. I have had the parking warning go off as I come to a stop and go away at full stop. Comes back when I start out and goes away when I get over 5 mph. That is the only time those sensors are active.

I don't have ACC, but have had the warning for AED and Lane Keeping disabled with a dirty windshield. Haven't experienced the issue with the BLIS. But the taillight and rear camera are good to keep clean. It's good to keep the headlights clean also in sloppy weather, especially with LEDs as they don't generate as much heat to keep ice off them. Usually his mine with the window cleaner when I fill up.

Well, I am experiencing this problem also. It says my parking aid is 'off' on the button, illuminated yellow. Also, if I press the home button on the steering wheel, it flashes a "!" over the dash display.

Changing from P to R or D causes the "Check park aid" icon to appear. Truck is super dirty but usually that just causes the sensor to trip early. I'm wondering if a fuse blew somewhere because it started after I was unhooking to my trailer.

OK Gang, I am a Jack ass with a capital J. I had been tinkering with my connections and inadvertently had BARELY unhooked the wiring harness under the back bumper. That had caused my problem, after firmly reconnecting the wiring harness I am good to go, for me the issue was resolved by making sure the black plastic connections were securely fastened. Hope you people are able to resolve.

Don't feel bad.......I called myself a jackass with a capitol J when I forgot to put the drain plug in and spilled 6qts of oil on the floor. Things happen and we learn from them! I've never forgot that drain plug and you'll never forget those connections!
