Park Aid Malfunction

I searched and saw a post/thread about this issue back in 2020. '21 lariat with 66K miles here. Keep getting Park Aid Malfunction pop up on left of speedometer info screen and then the truck turns off parking sensors. Also, on splash screen, an outline of the truck pops up with a red circle in the middle of the cab. Also shows up on pass app. Post i saw indicated that there is a large electrical connector behind the left headlight and to check connection. No other issues or other messages but back up camera is lagging when shifting from reverse to D or S. Anyone out there having this issue recently and if yes, what took care of it?

There is a setting in the Sync menus to delay turning off the reverse camera for 10 (?) seconds when shifting to drive. You can toggle this time delay off.

What DTC codes are you getting using a scanner or Forscan?

I’ll give it a shot. Wondering if it’s tied to parking aid sensors?

Borrowed a scanner from a buddy but either the truck is too new or scanner is too old as there were no codes popping up.

I played today since I had to hook up scanner anyway, pulled some Live Data PIDs when hooked up for a T-Shoot Reference.
Plus LEARNED something in the process as these are (Ultrasonic) sensors they produce a soundwave.
So as long as the Key is (On) and the system is active they are working, however they only send alert information when the condition is right (Reverse) or (Forward - Low Speed)

I first used a (Stethoscope) and could hear it (Cycle) then tried recording it.
So for a quick T-Shoot all sensors front and rear should be making this sound and they become active with just the key on.

Plus here is what PID's should show:

Note: Reading is with no obstacles, when you walk in front of or place object near them they react.
