Center console shifter....should it light up

* windshield wiper heater
* some passenger seat adjustment (headrest? lumbar? don't remember.)
* pencil tray

edit to add: just saw a thread where maybe the driver headrest is also not adjustable anymore?!? come on ford, can't we at least get the same amenities as an econobox from the 90s?

It drove me nuts too. Just go on eBay and look up Ford owner's manuals. There are loads of them for various models still in the shrink wrap with the ballistic nylon cases included for not much money. I grabbed one from a 2015 Transit and threw the manuals away. It has sleeves on the back of the case for registration and insurance cards and even came with a nice little soft towel for cleaning the screen on the head unit. The case and the towel have the Ford logo and I think it was 12 bucks shipped.

Artificial engine noise volume control. One of the last items with a knob and not buried 5 menus deep on the screen.

It's their responsibility to put the materials package together and hand it over at delivery.

Yes-And I got all the manuals tucked nice and neat in a - Great Value -Ziplock Bag they now reside in a proper protective cover, most likely never to see daylight again. I actually laughed when I opened glove box and saw it

What's real dumb is they did light up until mid-way through the 2020 model year. My 2020, built 12/19, lights up.

My 2020 lights up but you can't tell what gear you are in as there is no indicator... drives me crazy! That is EXACTLY where I an looking when I shift from park into reverse or drive.

You really need to look at an indicator to figure out what gear your in? PRND has not changed in how many years. I didn’t even know mine lit up until someone said theirs didn’t.

I don't need lights to tell me what gear I am in. However, it just gives it a finished look. My wife's $18k car lights up but my $40K truck wont? just seems kind of cheap to me.
