$16 on Amazon. Dupli-Color All-in-1-Scratch Fix Pen. Prep tip, touch up paint (1/4 oz), and clear coat. Worked fine for a small area. Clear coat is a bit thick.

I look at price and value; not a question of affording it. Paid mid 30's for the truck because I saw the value in what I got for the money. Just think it was over priced. Also think your response was uncalled for, I was just venting and looking for alternatives. For those that gave me alternatives Thanks.

What does a full vehicle paint job cost? $3,000 for a basic good one.
What does a gallon of Sherwin Williams paint cost? $60-$80.
Harleyfever. If you like Harleys and can afford one then $25 should not be much. Nothing personal, just saying. Everything costs a lot now. As others stated, that $25 if stored right will last a life time.

Outrage! No! Just think it is crazy. Because I am retired and on a fixed income I choose carefully. This allows me to buy the truck and the Harley 2016 Roadking. Why should I pay Ford more for something I can get cheaper; that works just as well as mentioned in this thread. Why should I pay 20 more for the same part I can buy from the Manufacture; DEEZEE Gate Assist. Spend wisely and you can afford more; unless of course you are independently wealthy and money is of no consequence. Thanks for the welcome. Good to be here.
