After a good cleaning, there is a product I have used with some success from Chemical Guys called New Look Trim Gel. Initial application can look a little glossy, but just like tire shine- if you take a clean cloth and buff it, it will make it more of a satin clean look. Wish you lived closer, I’d let you try some of mine.

You have gotten something on your door panel. That is Not fade. A panel wouldn’t fade down low like that even on a decade old truck.

There’s a nice product called “Super Clean” that works well. It’s dissolves grease, removes all sorts of grime, oil, wax, dirt and tar, it‘s Biodegradable and phosphate free (if that’s a concern for you), and it’s super easy to use. it’s concentrate, so a little goes a long way.

Some professional detailers will use it with a soft brush, like horsehair. You can buy a fancy horsehair brush for a fancy price, but guess what? A KIWI brush you use to polish your shoes is 100% horsehair.

I’d try spraying it down and scrubbing it with a soft brush a couple of times and see if some of that comes up

Keep us posted

Used it already. Didn't prevent or restore haha.
That's strange because I get a spot similar to that all the time in that area and it always comes out with the Aerospace protectant. I just went out and it was there again.

I've used Mother's Back to Black with great results in the past with my previous Sport Tracs external trim.

In post #3 you said it doesn't restore it which it does. There's obviously something rubbing against it which is causing the mark but the 303 does remove and restore it. For me I think it's my arm rubbing against it that's causing this but 10 seconds wiping it down cures it. ;)
