I am a newbie at this.

Looking on eBay I see several options.

Pen type?
Brush type?
Kit with sandpaper etc?
Do I need clear coat?
All the brands the same?

I have the metallic color.

Any advice appreciated.

The one from Ford that includes everything you need.

Dupli—Color Scratch Fix All in 1. I have/had the platinum tricoat and this small kit worked really well. It has an abrasive tip, paint pen tip, paint brush tip, clear coat with foam brush applicator, all in one pen. Really good product.

Thanks for all the advice. I had no idea there were so many options.

I am going to see if the dealer has the color I need so I can use my Ford points.

I bought the OEM touch up from Ford and it was a perfect match and the same looking device as duplicolor shown above.

I’ve got an appt for a clear bra so I want to fill the existing rich chips before hand. The part I need to revise is the wet sanding. I didn’t quite blend it well enough (not flattened enough). I will have to go back to it today for another wet sand, buff and polish.
