Can a Toyo Open country (P285/70/R17) fit my ranger?

Hey just reaching out. I am trying to by a set of new wheels and am curious if this size will fit. I know there are people who are into modding. All I have done is install a fox suspension 2” lift. Will this size fit or not? The wheels I am getting are going to have a 12mm offset. Also at what point would the tire sidewall extend farther out so it looks like a Baja truck. Again many questions and I don’t have answers.

Here is mine with the Bilstein 2.5” leveling struts, Falken Wildpeak MT LT285/70/17 and Fuel Rebel 17”x9” with +1 offset. Crash bars will need to be removed or aftermarket bars installed. Mine has a slight rub at full lock but Falkens tend to run bigger in size. Toyos run on the smaller size so it should be good.

I’m have the Toyo A/T 3 installed next week. 285/60R18. Same stuff ze that I am running now with my K2. No problems.

Why are you switching to Toyo AT/3 from KO2?

I’m not much of an off roader. I’ve talked to a few guys that have run both and preferred the Toyo. I read reviews between the 2 as well. Both have there pros and cons for sure.

Yes, standard on the XL I believe.

Yes...lots of us run this size including me...but everyone will have their own spin on tire clearance based on differing wheel offset used...

What offset do you use? Also would you know if 295/75r16 clear the suspension with a half inch spacer.
