Sharing pics of my cabin air filter replacement. Watched the YouTube video that said to disconnect the dampening cord first. Well it turns out mine doesn't have a dampening cord - maybe that's only on Lariat trim? Anyway, no big deal - takes a just a minute to swap out. Southwest Ohio.

My oct 2020 built lariat has the damper... I know they stopped adding it at some point but I wasn't aware it was model specific.

My 2020 XLT had the damper cord but it popped off so easy I didn't realize it at first.
I found it after looking in the opening. A serious challenge to connect it again.
