I like my truck. If there is a drawback to my 19 Ranger Lariat, its the lack of adequate storage in the cab console. No good place to toss items, a cell phone, change, etc. Surprisingly ill thought to me. That tiny dark space behind the shifter is not cool. Anybody have some clever solutions to share?

I just toss my phone in the center dash tray. Ran a charger cable behind dash and it comes out as a pigtail in tray.
For console, I bought a tray that fits on top, but still has the deep well below it.

I got a mesh stretchy pocket that I strung between driver & passenger headrest posts at the top and seat brackets at the bottom. It's not only good to store stuff in the mesh cavity, that you can easily see, but as a bonus it keeps stuff on your armrest from sliding off to the floor in the back. Kind of like a soccer net backstop. Sorry, traveling, don't have a pic or link.
