Thanks Phil. Yes, the wet method as you mentioned I have heard a lot of good things about. I have put on decals on vehicles, but always in the dry fashion. Mistakes and air bubbles were no fun for sure. The ranger above looks great! And CG sounds like a professional company. Thanks for the info!!!Hi Phil,
When I was managing Ford Off Road Racing, before the race we had a Contingency Row lined with vendors, Including Competition Graphics....CG was tops. Right there in the parking lot they could do wonders with their equipment and array of vinyl colors. Can do and Cheap...a real value and as such this is a CRAP company out of Mom's basement as you stated.
Back Story,
Learning on how to put graphics on my SCCA race trucks was an adventure until Livernios and I learned how to do it easily. The worst we encounter was the 5' long General Tire decal as the Saleen Team was sponsored by General Tire. The trick we learned was a spray bottle of soap and water with a squeegeet to displace the soapy water. Live and learn...
Here is a pix of the lower cab with these huge decals....Detroit Grand Prix... Indy Car driver Pete Halsmer who had become a friend of mine.
