selling for $27,989 - mind if if i ask how much they paid you for it?
I got 26k on trade, and they put 2 new brakes on, detailed it, and cover title and registration... they really can't make much money on this. Should I go buy it back? :D

Oh how times have changed..

When I traded up to the bronco I kept an eye on the dealership to see when they'd list the ranger back for sale. It was a 2021 stx with 40k, traded in March of 23 and got 25k trade in value.. once they fixed it up a bit they had it listed for 1000 dollars more than I bought it for lol.. 37k.

Every once in awhile I'll open up my Ford pass which is still connected and make the horn go off and lights flash lol.

I traded my 2019 for a bronco. My Scab sticker was around $34K. With rebates and A plan I paid a little over $27K. I drove it 44 months an put 46K on it an got an they gave me $26K trade. They listed it for $31K but I don't know what it sold for. This was in summer 2023 when supplies were tight.

Ain't gonna lie - you had a nice 2019 Ranger. All the pre-deletes and Sabre paint. Granted, blend door and transmission failures loom but really a sweet looking ride.

Sitting at Smart Toyota. Does that mean… surely you didn’t… how’d it get… but if… ummm… no way that you ditched the Ranger for a…. Got to be another explanation…

 Oh jeez. I bet he did. Poor little Ranger.
Oh that's brutal. Have more faith in me than that. I would 'never'.

In other news i negotiated some small fixes during the sales process of the explorer, and i got a loaner yesterday while they fixed them. It was a brand new 2025 Tacoma TRD Pro. I was stoked to drive it. I was always curious about them. What an absolute turd sandwich of a vehicle. A complete shitsicle.

It was comically underpowered. The interior was super gaudy and tacky like it was trying to be "tough truck stuff" but like way over the top. The big center screen is in your face because you sit on the floor like a car and your feet are way infront of you. So the entire dash is in your lap. Which also gives bad visibility. What a horrific vehicle, truly. Would never buy a Toyota.

Blend door was fixed under warranty. Would have definitely kept it if I could have.

Thanks for the link to your Explorer post. I’d actually seen the initial post but completely forgot about it.

Glad you found an Explorer! Hope it treats you and the family well. And so so so happy to find out that, contrary to my initial fears, you did not buy one of those other imitation trucky thingys from that weird brand. :like:

Dang, so they still didn’t get it right. I’ve always had three solid reasons that I would never buy a Taco:
1) seating position
2) power train
3) taco fan boys

I assumed they’d solved the first two. Sadly, not a damn thing anyone can do about item 3.

Holy cow! I've never looked at a CarFax report until your listing. Sheesh, a bit too Big Brother for me with entries like:
  • Vehicle serviced
    • Vehicle washed/detailed
But neato that you can see the original dealer sticker.

I wonder if I can list all the 303 stuff I've done to Soupie - that's gotta skyrocket the value! =D
