Spend about a week reading these forums. You will learn all you need to know. But be careful your checkbook may take a hit when the mods begin. Congratulations on your purchase. I hope you like it as much as I do mine

Very true you should stop visiting this site people are contently posting cool mods that is only going to feed future mod addiction, save yourself j/k make it your own happy modding

1. Check air pressure in the tires mine was 40 psi dropped them to 34-35.
4k miles and many mods, still enjoying it.

Also spend some time sitting in your Ranger as your read the owner's manual. Try all the knobs, and controls as you read about their function.

You might want to check the windshield washer fluid level; many of us found the level very low.

Adding a tailgate damper to the Ranger is like adding a bikini to Kate Bekinsale.

It just makes it right.

That's a handsome truck. The one thing that always bugs me is how it looks like Ford just slaps a generic exhaust system on there. It was the second thing I did to mine after an oil catch can.

I tend to keep my vehicles for a decade and while the technology will likely age out, a stainless exhaust won't and the catch can will (I believe) keep the performance consistent even though it's extra maintenance.
