Might be fun to see how much people spend on their Ranger after the sale.I was adding mine up and realized I spent over $3,000 on a 2 wheel drive Ranger !!!

I have never spent this kind of money on any truck and that doesn't include the dealer accessories that came with it and I paid for ugh..

Had to throw in a spray on bedliner, tonneau cover and set of Husky custom fit mats. Not complaining - I fully knew what I was getting into. I'm a first time truck owner. They do seem to be more "needy" than a typical car. I'm really enjoying it so far however.

Putting in the installed brake controller will put me over the $500 point. Like others I've installed the addon's myself. Still miffed I do not have the subwoofer that the crew cabs have but I'm still trying to decide where I want to install one.

Lol...welcome a pickup owners group, yes they are somewhat 'needy' but depending on your hauling needs, you'll wonder how you ever did without one.
For instance, would you carry 50 cinder blocks in the trunk of your Honda Accord? how about 10 bags of mortar mix in your son's Porsche Cayenne?
And don't forget 20 bags of steer manure (whew!) in your wife's Tesla Model X? (she'll really love you for that).
You get the idea...

So far I've spent close to $700 in accessories for a truck I don't even own yet! Talk of putting the cart before the horse...
  • FordRangerLifts 3" front lift spacers
  • Floor mats by Weathertech
  • PedalCommander
  • "Ranger" tailgate lettering by Putco
  • Car Cover from CarCovers.com
  • ForScan interface by obdlink.com
  • Door sill protectors, again by Putco
I've also a wireless keyless entry pad and tailgate dampener on hold at the dealer, these will be purchased with my FordPassRewards, and don't forget the bed spray in liner I'll have done within a weeks time of getting the truck ($450).

This truck is my retirement gift to myself, after working 16 years as a mechanic and 28 as a firefighter, time to enjoy!

I've spent around $1,800 between the tires, level kit, tailgate damper, console tray, console pad, lettering and tonneau cover. A better question would be "How much would you like to spend" lol. That new vendor APG has a killer kit here.

Indeed it will, as well the Funny Farm

Remember this tune?

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees
And begged you not to leave
Because I'd go beserk
Well you left me anyhow
And then the days got worse and worse
And now you see I've gone
Completely out of my mind
And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa
They're coming to take me away ho-ho hee-hee ha-haaa
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats
And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa
You thought it was a joke
And so you laughed
You laughed when I said
That losing you would make me flip my lid
Right?
You know you laughed
I heard you laugh, you laughed
You laughed and laughed and then you left
But now you know I'm utterly mad
And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa
They're…
