Does anyone know the bolt specs (thread and length) for the W505443-S439 bolts used to mount the FX4 front skid plate?

I'm adding the plate to an FX2, but don't want to buy the expensive Ford equivalents.
I searched, but can't find the actual bolt details anywhere...

Hi JB,

Since these are KEPS, with dog point and plated, I think $1.53 each is not a bad price for OEM fasteners.

Thanks Phil :)
Totally agreed on the bolt price itself; that's quite reasonable. It's mainly the shipping ($15).

Actually, now that I think about it, I have a collection of various grade 8 metric hex bolts (including zinc plated), and i could just test them out until i find the right thread/diam...

The one question of using different bolts would be the torque, as the KEPS bolt spec is already known at 22 lb-ft.

For anyone else interested, it looks like M10x1.5, and longer than ~approx 30 mm.

Hi BJ,

22 ft-lbs is probably a good number...It is enough to flex the captive KEPS washer and should work well for you with lock washer and flat washer... Not a super critical fastener, eh?

Thank you! Picked up a set at ACE and it worked great. The dummies fine folks at our local oil change place forgot to re-attach or tighten mine back up a few weeks ago. Pulled back in the driveway today and noticed the plate was hanging down in the front... Thankfully it was still there, but one bump and it'd been gone.
Glad I can always count on ya'll to have an answer here! Thanks!!
