Hey Jack,

Rhino Rack has two different models, each in right side or left side mount. I’m not sure of the sizing but it looks like they have one for the batwing 270 and one for a regular model - not sure of the lengths but they are black. $50/$60 CAD on Canadian Amazon site. Might be cheaper on U.S. site or from RR directly.

Good luck.

Got any auto upholstery shops there?

Shouldn't be too pricey to get something made to your specs.

Maybe they could McGyver two manufactured units together to make one long enough for your needs.

Growing up, my dad would get my mom to sew all kinds of crazy things with just her Singer sewing machine, including a convertible top for a fibreglass body dune buggy, snowmobile covers - basically anything that required an industrial machine. I can’t count the number of times she had to replace broken needles. ?‍♂

Hell yeah, that's the way to do it.

I grew up building hotrods with my old man every other weekend. He learned every aspect along the way except for upholstery. Lucky for me I tagged along to the shop that did his work quite a bit. Saved me by knowing where to go when as a teenager I burnt a hole smack dab in the middle of my mom's driver's seat. She never knew!

I've got an idea for something I might be finding a shop for this summer. I want to modify the topper portion of my FasTop a bit.

I’ll see if my mom has time and if she still has that old Singer. ;)

My guess is it would not be cheaper than buying something online. PVC probably is on the pricey side, and having to sew in an 8 foot double zipper...
