After living in CT for almost 60 years, I would say that MAYBE they have better reaction times to all the idiot drivers out there. And there were plenty of them...

I thought that too when I lived there. It was a really eye opener out here and my friends back there are shocked when I complain about the drivers out here. lol

I like to watch YouTube videos 'Idiot Driver's'. I actually think they're educational - in that I've become more aware of what stupid things to watch out for.

I did say it once, after coming back home from a trip to India. Was shocked how great everyone was driving. Took me a few days to recalibrate again.

I was a little surprised Ohio was the 5th worst. I rarely get tied up in traffic due to an accident. Michigan and Kentucky were on the best drivers an their highways are always shut down by accidents. My brother lives in northern KY an I talk to him all the time because any time he's in a traffic jam he calls to kill time. My boys went to college in Toledo. The radio was always giving accidents to avoid in Michigan. This list might be a case study in looking at statistics an not what's actually happening.
