Best bed rack for camping?

I want to run a hard shell RTT on my truck. Wanting some real world info on bed racks, what have you run, what are you running, which ones do you like? Cheaper is better as long as the quality is good…. Would like to mount some accessories / lights.

Nice looking truck. I have a 2023 ordered that looks similar. I’m here to read other replies for future knowledge but also to ask you … did you replace the factory halogen bulbs with LED bulbs? Which did you go with and how was that process putting them in? Already thinking ahead, can’t believe they’re still using halogen lights lol.

Putting LED bulbs in Halogen fixtures is illegal per federal law, just FYI. The lenses are different, and aren't intended to be used with LED. Of course, enforcement is rare, just make sure you know the laws before you break them .

Back on topic, thanks to everyone for sharing their rack and RTT info on this thread, and others (there are some more comprehensive threads about this, just search). I have plans for the RetraxPro/Leitner rack combo, really like LD's pods for work equipment, and load bars for bikes/skis. I don't plan to get an RTT...wife is very afraid of ending up on her head/ass when going to pee in the night.

I have the OVS Freedom bed rack and like it. About $900. Have all kinds of stuff mounted to it, RTT, awning, fly rod holder, lights, traction pads, and it's held up great the past 5000 miles of offroad use.
