Yesterday I cut the last tree up at the trails parking lot and moved the slash into da woods. It was the largest tree I've pushed over yet. How does one do this work without a HD root grapple? Top photo is the grapple tooth marks when it was pushed over.

Nice shots Chris. We got to about 96% covered here and had some clouds thrown into the mix.

Those are great moonshots. It took me a while to master taking them years ago, and you really need the right camera to do it justice. A dark clear cool to cold night helps. Hard to get those shots near a city. We used to fish off Cape Sable or in Lake Ingraham, a very large salt water lake accessible to the Gulf Of Mexico by the Middle Cape Canal at its northern border of the lake, via the East Cape Canal from the Florida Bay at the southern end of the lake. One of the very few places in South Florida in the 1960's-1970s where you could experience true darkness, and go somewhere to be truly alone.

Thats about all we got here in PHX too, 96%. I wasnt able to get the last little bit because of wispy clouds we had here, too.
Camera on my phone did ok, I think. Zoom wide open at 30X.

We spent another wonderful weekend at Camp Covington* with moderate temps. Got lots of camp chores done there. Sorry to say, we did not catch much on the camp game cams and below, is the only wildlife seen. Animal movements seem to have really slowed down.

A fellow with a camp 20 miles away said his game cams went quiet like ours did. Must be a seasonal thing. We are hauling our tractor down tomorrow and then we'll return for the long weekend.

Got tractor moved to camp today. I might head down a bit early since dearest will be working all day Friday. Does this tractor look like 10,000lbs to you?
