Just found the owner , who I work with, but her father passed away a while back and she ended up with this little beauty , hardly ever driven , they couldn't get the tonneau cover unlocked , said its a factory hard cover but the dealer wouldn't pick the lock , so she brought it here to our safe guy ... not sure if the factory sent them out with hard covers though, it's pretty clean ...

Would be DSO....Dealer Special Order. The Hard cover would come into the plant already painted and there would be an off line operation to install... Usually this was done at the dealer by the Dealer and not the plant as the $$$ to have the plant do the install...

That's what I was pretty sure of , but didn't want to tell her that , the Ford dealer kinda told her that when they wouldn't help on the lock ? , said it was 3rd party , so she took it to a local "LEANORDS " who does and have done nothing BUT toppers and covers and such and they wouldn't touch it either, said it looked Factory, we gots a guy here that does all of our authorized B&E from safe cracking right on down ...
Odometer is. 24 thousand and some change...

Drove up the road a couple weeks back to check out the Fall colors. This is around Aspendell, CA; about 8400' elevation.
