Installed my HN Customs gauge pod mount this afternoon. Fit and finish of this handmade piece is incredible. 10/10 and worth the wait.

Here are some pics of the install. Had to drill a hole in the dash to route the wires to the OBD port. Took my time and it came out great.

Added a new page layout to the idash.
1) Horsepower from the ECU
2) Torque calculated by the ECU
3) Fuel Rail Pressure
4) Accelerator Pedal Percentage (assume this translates to WOT).

The funny thing is my foot was to the floor for a good second so category #4 saying the throttle was only 77% open was enlightening.

That is because the factory settings for the electronic throttle controller. Everyone should be familiar with that delay and flooring the pedal and the truck actually taking off.

Generally a tune address is this or a product like pedal Commander so if you have none of those I can easily understand why a few seconds of the pedal press to the floor only equated to 77% if that device is accurate.

Completely agree with you there! I was just surprised it said only 77% at that speed.

I’m interested in this and the defroster vent pod from Aeroforce but I can’t justify the price right now.
That's a slick setup, definitely on my list of "I have $500 bucks to blow" mods.

I'm surprised it wasn't lower... In our litigious society, it falls on the manufacturer to protect people from themselves. I'm surprised pressing the throttle to the floor doesn't cut power because no one could possibly need to go full throttle with 327 horsepower. [/sarcasm]

I have the Ultimate9 throttle controller and it does make a world of difference in throttle responsiveness.

How did the stock venf come out was trying to pop it off wasn't moving at all? Seems like it was part of the dash.

The front of it has a small clip that if you push back and up it will come out. The back of it has a long retainer style clip. I will take a picture tonight and show you.

Hi guys.
I am also adding the vent gauge pod to use with the Banks idash gauge. I have a 2022 fx4 xlt and when I tried to pop out the vent piece it seems to have been glued into place and I had to cut and pry it out. What a mess!
went to Ford dealer and they confirmed that the vent is not a replaceable part….you have to buy the entire dash pad!As I looked at your pics it’s obviously a loose piece and it looks like there is a part number molded into it. Wondered if you could supply that number. Would like to buy one just in case I ever sell the vehicle and pull the banks gauge out. Thanks for your help!

That seems strange? Why would they suddenly glue the vent in place?

What's this do that the device I can plug into the ODB port and run off an app on my can do.
I can also reset CEL and use it on just about any vehicle on the market from at least the last decade.
Generally curious about this thing?

Probably the same thing as your app. This is just a hardwired unit with constant data.
