In 03 I bought my first new truck an 03 Ranger super cab which I had for 4 years when I bought a Tacoma, I needed a 4 door truck and Ford wasn't making a 4door ranger. After owning my beloved Taco for 16 years the old girl was starting to show her age and at 270K miles I was at the point of needing to put money into it such as a trans overhaul and other things. I have an order in for a 23 Maverick but since there is no telling when or IF it will ever come in I started looking at other options. I am a tech at a Ford dealer (20years) and we had a 19 Ranger XLT FX4 traded in with 80k on it so after some talking with the wife and running some number I decided to go with it. I serviced the truck my self and overall it was very clean, 1 owner and they had oil changes done every 5k with us. I have had it a little over a week now and while I miss my Taco I am happy in the ranger, looking to get into some off roading with it

So far I have tinted the windows with llumar ceramic tint, added ranger floor mats, rough county bed mat, and an organizer for the the center console

is it heavily modified, as in, does it have a damper?
I think this is a new record for mentioning "the damper"....post #2.

Anyway, welcome to the festivities...as a Ford tech your probably aware of what you need us to tell you what you need....

Hope you got a great deal considering you work for the dealership. Sharp looking truck, might be a little partial to the color myself.
Truck was 27k I got 1k off as an employee they gave me 7k for my Tacoma. The market is rough right now but is coming down.

Seat covers are my next priority and a leveling kit will be nice, sits way to low in the front for a 4x4
just put stuff in the bed like how trucks are supposed to be use

I have the DeWalt 2” front level kit for mine. Works great.

dewalt fan boi much? ain't gonna lie... I'm a ryobi convert. I'm sick of buying different brands and styles of batteries. ryobi tools from the 90's work with modern batteries and vice versa
