Way to go boys, you suggested to Scott that maybe it was his wife rattling and we haven't seen him since Monday.
I think he realized the rattling belt was a design defect and is out looking to trade it in for something else. Never can tell what rattling belts will lead to next.

Has anyone encountered/fixed a rattle in the B-pillar? If so, can you share any tips for accessing and taming it??
Thanks!
I have an 2019 extended cab but I have a rattle in the same location on the driver's side even without the B pillar. When hitting washboard areas on our lovely paved roads, it rattles very loudly behind my head up in the rear upper corner of the window. When the window is open to any extent the rattle is less pronounced. If I push on the window and door up in the corner when hitting those bumps, it also is diminished - something in the door frame. It can be rather loud. Haven't figured out a way to combat it yet. I've had the vehicle a whole week. So far not happy with the rather cheap build on this vehicle considering it's the XLT, same as my old 2000 F-150. Apparently "XLT" means a lot less than it used to.

Don't think it matters to anyone but anyhow I ran some batting material around the door frame next to the weather stripping and that reduced the door rattle about 75%. I'll try a thicker material next and that should eliminate most of the loud door rattle when driving on bumpy/washboard pavement. The doors don't appear to be a solid fit as you can hear air coming through when its really windy out. Cheap build on this truck.
