What was worse is it cost the taxpayers an average of $24,000! But wait there's more....

Don't forget about the $700 BILLION from the TARP program that helped bail out GM & Chrysler.

I REALLY hate the “auto stop start“ (ASS) crap and have been putting up with that ASS crap for over five years until someone finally told me to plug in a damn 99 cent night light to the AC outlet to keep my ASS turned off. Now I don’t hate that ASS crap so much cause it doesn’t come on and it saves me the laborious task of pushing that ASS OFF button every time I start my Ranger. I think I have ASS induced arthritis from pushing that miserable ASS crap button now. Think I’ll call my lawyers, Bingle, Bangle, and Bunghole to sue the government for damages to my elbow and shoulder.
And, thanks to the guy that told me to plug the night light in to stop that ASS crap from working……….
Hows that for getting back on track..???

Oh, and I believe it will go away when I see the first vehicle come off the line without it. Not holding my breath.

We have 2 ASS vehicles. My wife's Subaru got it right. I'm left handed and they put the ASS off button on the left side. Very easy to poke it without looking. My Ranger makes it hard to reach my ASS off with my dominant hand because of a steering wheel in the way . And many times I miss the first try. Wish I could move my ASS off button to the left.
