It's funny that until I saw one a few months ago, I didn't know there was such a thing as an STX with FX4.

Mine is an XL STX 4x4 with E Locker and Trailer Tow. That's really all I need/wanted anyways. Plus I didn't really have a choice since it was literally the only Ranger on the lot at the dealer when I bought it. The only thing I would have wanted different was another color. Living in Vegas I always stay away from dark colored vehicles, but black grew on me and love it now.

Black is a great color for the Rangers. Love the blacked out emblem on yours. I grew up out in Ridgecrest, CA (Mojave desert), still remember my Dad's black Explorer and those triple digit Summers...

I wanted a no frills truck, with 4 wheel drive and a hitch. The XL STX fit the bill perfectly. I ended up with the FX4 package and am happy with the goodies: locker, skid plates, Trail Control, and Terrain Mode. The Silver is growing on me too.

The ARB Air Lockers look like a great setup if you do not have the OEM locker. Also looks like it has a five year warranty as a bonus. The ARB compressor is on my mod list. On-board air will be better than my current Harbor Freight fire-hazard 12v compressor.
