Notepad is a good option, however, it is uncomfortable in my opinion. There are plenty of mobile apps that might help you to keep track of car expenses without going to Excel worksheets or any other hard thing.

If you have the ford app there's a place to log maintenance. I log mine there an have a paper backup.

Dealer does all my digital record keeping for me.. I just keep my service paperwork In a folder at the house.

And because I am boomer :wink: everytime I service something, I update the sheet, then I print it and put the printed copy in the vehicle.
