Problems with the moldings? That is interesting to hear. Thanks for the info. One of my roof rail moldings had the paint flake off and I need to take it in for replacement since I'm still under warranty. My window trim moldings are doing the same as yours. I will bring that up as well.

My vehicle is at the dealer with a list of warranty issues and one of them is the faded window seals. Will let you know if they replace all four seals under the bumper to bumper warranty.

Dealer informed me the seals will be replaced under warranty, but parts are on backorder and unknown ETA.

How did we know this was going to be the outcome?

Parts must be on a slow boat from China.
EVERYTHING is on a slow boat from China.

The longer thjs bullshit excuse goes on the more and more it looks planned.

I know this thread is old, but thought I would mention my fix for this issue (saw it on You Tube). Magic Eraser brought it back to new with very little effort. I'll treat it with 303 also.

I know this is an old thread, but a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser does the trick.
I have a C5 Vette and had the same issue.
Both now look new!

You can buy replacement moldings on eBay/Amazon for about $45. They are super easy to change out and they are so cheap that if they last two or three years you get your moneys worth.. Hopefully they’ll last longer than that.

My 2024 is showing fade in same spots. I guess Ford continues to use the same poor quality parts in 6 g Ranger as well

Just look earlier in the thread. Mr. Clean magic erasure is all that's needed. Just try it. I used it on my 21 ranger and they look like new!
After I saw it worked on my 21 Ranger, I tried it on my 2003 Z06. The rear window molding/ rubber weatherstrip...was splotchy and faded, and it's non-replaceable (it's an obsolete part and no body makes one). I tried everything on it...nothing worked. Except the Magic Erasure!
Go spend $3 bucks at Walmart and give it a try.
