Anyone have Issues with the Window Molding Fading

The lower molding trim on my drivers side and rear drivers side windows are fading. does anyone else have this problem ? It's also happening on my passenger side but not that bad. It's only on the horizontal pieces. Went to the dealer to see if it's covered on the bumper to bumper warranty but haven't heard back from them. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they got the dealer to replace it free. Thanks

Mine has a few faded spots but not that bad. I'm long out of bumper to bumper warranty so can't help ya there.

Yes.
Mine is fading too.
And @RANGER PRIDE is right in that it looks better after some 303 Protectant is used regularly.

Mine is faded and was not applied correctly, it's peeled off in some areas. I need to make time to have the dealer fix it as well as see what they want to do about the splotchy door panel paint.

and after you apply a rubber protectant?

It looks the same when I finish washing it. I do not use any type of rubber protectant. Never have on any of my vehicles. The dealer thought it might be a rubber protectant that may have caused it. Couldn't be !

Joe try using some 303 Aerospace protectant on it. It has great UV protection and it will restore the black color. I use it on all my black trim and tonneau cover along with all my interior and with our heat out here mine still looks brand new.

Mine look about the same. Definitely worse on the driver's side. I've wondered if a protectant would help but haven't pulled the trigger on any yet. Glad to hear it does. Thanks @AzScorpion for the info.

Yes mine is sun faded too. I’m using 303 protectant to bring it back. It’s improving more each time I apply it. I use it on all my black trim, bed cover and my interior including leather seats.

Just found out from the dealer that there is a problem with the moldings. Since I still have bumper to bumper coverage they are going to replace it.

i have the same issue on my 2020, you showed the dealer and they are gonna replace with no issue? Did they try to fight it at all?

Mine looks ok so far, but I've been using 303 on the exterior rubber & plastics since I bought it end of April 2021.

Just found out from the dealer that there is a problem with some moldings. They are going to replace mine.
