Local dealer had this big bend sitting out by the street had to pull in for a closer look. Taller than I expected with those big 35's, like the look but the $50k price tag is a bit much for me. I would have to go with a base.

Did it have a "Market Adjustment" or was $50k the MSRP?

Also, what dealer so I can go look it up :like:

The Ford site only allows searches within 100 miles and there are 0 in that radius.

That's the Big Bend model

msrp 33,385
Sasquatch $5,000
modular fron bumper $825
most likely had the mid package which is $1,495.
delivery $1,495
running boards $395
Roughly $44,895

If it has the 2.7 v6 add another $1,895

Hard to tell what else it might have but those are most of the big ticket items so it looks like there's asome dealer markup.

Do those raised protrusions on the leading edge of the front fender act like canards on a plane ???
Is there a seperate "rudder or canard" pedal next to the gas pedal ?
Inquiring minds want to know !!! :giggle:

I haven't looked at the packages because it's just not an option for me, but I I would be all over a soft top SWB on 37s with full off-road options Sofa King fast.

I'd probably get more use with a soft top with the ease of pulling it back and not having to fully remove it. I'm wondering how bad they are with dust? We have a lot of dust in the air here without even going off road.

One thing about the hardtop is you can remove it completely and there's no bar through the middle obstructing your view. It's a nice wide open concept especially with the doors off.

I want to run mine like this one most of the year with a bikini mesh top.

Yup, but green not blue, no doors and quick remove top. Being bald though, I need a solid cover, not mesh ;)

They are to attach "limb risers" which deflect branches over the windshield or use as front tie down points for canoes and such.

Sticker was $49,xxx MSRP. Parked at West Herr Rochester. I assume it was somebody's order that they picked up based on the plates already on it.

Dave, it seems like the soft top is a magnet for dust, pollen, and all the other crap that floats in the air. The wife's Mustang stays in the porta-co attached to the house. I swear it only takes 5-10 minutes for it to get covered in dust when it's been dry for several days. But, I will also say it's worth every minute it takes to keep it clean. That perfect day, top down, riding with your bestie is the best blood pressure medicine known to man. So, to hell with the dust, get that soft top if that's what you want. You'll be just fine.

BTW, I have a 15 year old Cali duster that I use to get the biggest amount of the crap off the top when I don't have the time to do it properly. It will get enough of the dust, etc off the fabric to drop that top, and hit the road. :)

Nice comparison video between the Badlands and a Sasquatch Badlands. It would've been nice if he had measured the actual ground clearance too.

Edit: I found this chart showing all the different models and their heights. Looks like the Badlands on 33's is only 1.28" lower than the Badlands with Sasquatch.

Quick video showing some of the off road features like Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist. This is going to be a great feature out in the tight trails.
