The OP’s sliders mfg hasn’t been disclosed yet but opinion on here seems to hint that that you’re telling him to replace them with what he already has .Living in south Tennessee I hardly see any road salt and such but my rocky road sliders have held up great! I agree that lining or possibly even powder coating may be your best option if you want to keep the ones you have. If not and you are looking for a replacement check out rocky road in Utah. They are jam up!

I thought you had White Knuckle sliders? The pics show a different mounting than the WK sliders. Or am I seeing it wrong? ( WK has clamp bolts top and bottom. One of the pics shows clamp bolt at bottom and one into the frame). Also there’s a decal that appears to have the letters A & D at the end. That's not the brand...
I have the same sliders and the only rust I have is where I smacked the snot out of them and took the powder coating off. Basically, I used them and have to deal with the upkeep.
Do other people in your area with different brands have rust issues? Environment plays a factor. If others have the same issues, I don't think its a brand issue.

Thanks for clearing that up.the companies name ends in... Offroad...
I don't want to specifically say, because the OP might still be working with them.
i would suggest new hardware if possible.I can confirm these are from White Knuckle. So far they have refunded me the $190 cost of the powder coat option but I haven't heard back from them on whether they can do anything else. I asked what kind of warranty is included and did not receive a response.
To address the question of how they are made. I can only confirm that the top plates and slider tubes are separate pieces that came disassembled and I had to bolt the top plates on when I installed them.
I finally found a local company that will sandblast, "zinc rich prime" and powdercoat them for $450. He seems to think they were not finished properly but will hold up with the way he would refinish them. I'm a bit skeptical but since they are local I could always go back to them if I have issues.
Now I just need to get them off the truck which might be a challenge. I used anti sieze on the bolts but am still concerned about getting them off and being able to reuse the bolts to reinstall them.
