Any one planning on going on an eclipse watching trip April 9th?

Haven't heard it mentioned yet. Is anyone planning a trip to watch the eclipse? I have a friend who is and might join him.

Yes. Going to the Texas Hill Country for a month to watch the eclipse and do some hiking.

Walking out my back door. We are pretty close to the direct line on the map I saw. Should rent out the land for campers...

Just learned we are in path of totality. Also, with the expected influx of tourists coming to VT, they are considering closing schools for traffic safety.

Just the the northern areas tend to have a lot of cloudy weather in the spring.

We're supposed to have a great view of it. A lot of cities are planning viewing events for residents and visitors. I'll probably be working or just getting done so I'll see it from the car.

I think the Indians have their home opener that afternoon an it's going to happen an hour into the game.

Watching an eclipse is definitely on my bucket list. Reminds me of the time my family and I planned a trip to one of the best US theme parks during a solar eclipse. It was such a memorable event, and witnessing nature's spectacle alongside thrilling rides made it even more special.

I saw the last one, I visited my old Navy buddy about an hour west of St. Louis. The little town was inundated with out-of-towners. But the eclipse itself was epic! I will be heading back to where I grew up in Ohio for this one. Hoping for good weather and not too many visitors.
It would be awesome to have seen two in my life.

I live west of Cleveland close to the lake an we're hearing hotels and air B&B's are all booked an to expect crazy traffic that day. I drive around delivering dental crowns and stuff an with the predicted traffic I hope they tell me to take the day off.
