any one need sewing machines?

Hello 5g friends! So, many of you may remember me saying that my mother had a stroke about 2 years ago. After that I had to close her business etc. Now I have several expensive commercial sewing machines in storage doing nothing. All of them work and ready for someone to put them to use. Understand these are not the little cheap made plastic ones people get at target or walmart. These are the machines that are used by manufacturing businesses. They are not flimsy. They have replaceable parts and get oil changes. I would like to gift them or at least some of them to someone that will use one. So if you or someone you know is interested in making drapes, clothes, canvas work, upholstery or even some leathers and wants a good machine let me know. They must be able to pick them up / transport them. I cant deliver them or ship them. they will fit in a ranger bed just fine lol.

I used to sew dog-crate mats/beds for my dogs and for friend's dogs. I have an electronic (as they pretty much all are for home use) Elna that I used. The thickness of the mats was a struggle for my machine and I would have loved to have had one like what your mom used.

I used to show Labradors, so I know breeders across all over the world... I'll ask some of my doggie friends in Texas if anyone has use for one and I may be checking back with you for some contact info!

The shipping cost would be high. Imagine a 75 gallon fish tank in terms of size- including the tank stand. They require 2 able persons to lift and one stout one to move around. Someone would have to pick them up in person with a truck or van uhaul etc. I also have henmers tackers etc. Picture of one of the machines.

They all have steel and cast machine heads, HD electric motors and stands that are metal and inch wood tops. They heavy.

if someone is wanting to start a biz doing custom furnishings upholstery drapes bedding etc. these are the full setup. the problem is most folks dont want or need a heavy duty machine. more and more of the commercial careers are sent to china etc .
