Factory 2019/2020 Ranger mono leaf springs sit on top of the axle. What is being discussed is the spring relocated to below the axle. That raises the rear, thus lowering the truck.
I see this, but there are flat plates welded to the top of the axel, how would you relocate them to the bottom where the springs would now sit?

A flip kit usually comes with a new spring perch, that is sort of a squared off "U" shape, and the ends index and sit on the underside of the factory perches. They can also have one leg of the "U" longer than the other which will help maintain the drive-line geometry. Then, just position the leaf springs on the new perches on the underside of the axle and bolt it up.

Yeah, no ones made a flip kit yet. Hopefully, someone will make a spring. hmm.
