do you have a Google account?

Do you have an Amazon account?

LB
Do you have a Ranger5G account?

Scour your bank account and even the gold coins buried in Mason jars, @AzScorpion is siphoning away everyone's money with ""303 subscriptions!"" =p

Seriously though, even my day job sells my info, that really peeves me. But I'm all over the web and no doubt more info is out there about me than I even know or remember.

I also have no doubt that both our phones "listen" because Kate will suddenly get an ad for like an e-scooter 15 minutes after I mention it.

But, I do use the app for remote starts and air pressure obsessing.

The app makes my life easier so I use it. Unless you are living with 90's/early 2000's tech, you are being harvested for data. If it has an internet connection, they are getting something from you. I have nothing to hide so whatever. I have bigger things to worry about.

Man, I think it was China recently just had robot kick boxing matches. Looked lame and slow but man they can pop right up, imagine in 1-2 years what they will be able to do. I can't help but think the Matrix/I, Robot is in the future. I just hope there are many robot companies and many Ai companies so that through competition they keep it honest.

Man, I wish I was at a camp fire with a good cigar talking about this all with friends lol

I’d go one step further and say my phone reads my freakin mind sometimes! Lol There have been more than a few times where I’ve thought about looking something up and when I start typing “what is…”, that’s the first thing that comes up in the search bar. It’ll be weird stuff too, like “what is the best food for senior dogs” or “what is the limit for striped bass in Connecticut”? Stuff I’ve never looked up or said out loud… It’s the algorithm man!!! ?

It's not the govt I'm most worried about as said can't hide. It's the damn marketing crap they sell from your info that just totally irritates the hell out of me.
In the almost 4 years I've been using the Ford Pass App, I have never received any marketing ads, other than when I accidentally hit the Sirius button. The it's 3 to 4 weeks of mailers from them.

Get that in the mail already. Lol.
Y'all can sign you rights away all you want. But I don't miss ford pass one bit. When they updated and I deleted it, put a remote start in and that is ten times faster than ford pass.

Whether you use the app or not, you truck still communicates with Ford. The only way to stop that is to disable the on-board modem.

My response was sarcastic. Just so you know. I dont trust the man either, and I work for the man. But to be honest, any connected vehicle or phone can be tracked thanks to 9/11 and the patriot act. No matter what if the government wants to find you they will. It all depends on how much they want to and the resources they are willing to commit.

Unless you live in the woods with zero electronics there is no escaping it.
There is the Keyhole satellite constellation for that...
