Those are pretty awesome but out of my price range, if I lived where there was alot more rocky blm trails like southern Utah or the Nevada, etc I could see a use for the more hardcore ones.

My price range is around $300-$500

With you mentioning the price range I would recommend the FX4 skid plates. That is what i am doing to my truck. I already have the transfer case skid plate and it bolted right up. For the front plate it blots up to you just have to remove the rubber are diflector is all but it is on back order and I probably wont see mine until next month. Also be aware that the transfer case skid plate hangs down below the frame about 1/2 an inch and is more likely to hit rocks and things.

I have a 2in leveling kit that is coming from Benny at Levittown so the 1/2in doesn't bother me. I ordered an FX4 plate to CMA but I haven't heard word 1 from dealer I ordered from which leads me to believe back order as well.

Did you need to buy the bolts for the transfer plate skid? If so which ones where they?

I dont remember the part number but it is just 4 bolts. Same bolts that hold the front skid plate on.

If I remember correctly it took close to a month to get the transfer case skid plate. Still waiting on the other but when it gets here I shall be happy.

New to the forum, so forgive if you've found the answer -

I recently ordered the front skid for my "new to me" FX4 which came sans plates. I've not yet received the bash plate, but these are the bolts recommended. I'll update once the parts arrive.

I believe it's OEM part number W505443-S439. I found them here: https://www.fcoemparts.com/oem-part...xJmw9MiZuPVJlY29tbWVuZGVkIFByb2R1Y3RzJms9MQ==

Welcome any other thoughts as I'm undergoing the same project. Similar strings here also led me to 589fab plates. Similar pricing to the OEM package. I may go with their kit if it proves better.

Yes those are the bolts needed in order to add the factory skid plate for the transfer case. For the front bash plate you can reuse the original botls.

Thanks for the bolts.

As for those 589fab plates, they come out to almost double the cost of the factory plates once all added together so for me Im going factory plus I like the look of the stainless front factory skid from the FX4 and for that and the transfer case skid plus the couple extra needed bolts its like $325 shipped. Really cannot argue with that price.
