I got some ideas.
I had progressive AAL's on my tacoma when i had one. They were nice as they didnt really lift, just the pack thickness, but they beefed up the pack at bottom out. Those that dont know- they are an AAL mini pack that has 3 very thin leaves. Common use on toyotas that have weak ass leaf packs.

So my wildtrak springs are soft, but Im thinking of using a tacoma progressive AAL and replacing the overloads. Those of you that are into this stuff, what you think?
I figure this would add some stiffness to the pack at bottom out, and not add additional lift.
In the "tacomaworld" we used to mess with different things like that, sometimes it worked, sometimes not.

Sumo springs would be a much easier thing to do. Replaces the factory bumpstop with a longer, more progressive 'spring'. Available in a softer and a stiffer version. Many of us use them and they function as sortof a helper spring when you've got the tail end loaded down.

Unloaded, there's no contact with the pack, but as you load up the truck it starts to contact and adds support.
