OCD ALERT!!! If you’re OCD then read this with caution!
I’ve noticed since new that the steering column does not appear to be straight in relation to the dash and seats. It doesn’t bother me but it is noticeable. Hopefully the images show what I’m talking about. This could be what the OP is referring to?

"By a hair" is a relative measurement....
You must be specific as to what you used to measure.....
A horse or cow hair is much thicker than a human hair, and a human hair, is dependant on what color the hair is.....
BE SPECIFIC !!!

Usually it's a "CH"

Mine was way off like I was turning right, but it did not pull, till I got an alignment, they fixed that and made something else worse and 4000 miles later my cords are showing on both front tires!
dont get your alignment at Mr.Tire

All I know is that I tend to sit more onto the outer bolster and am beating it to hell - could be the steering wheel makes me sit more to the outside?

Or maybe my fat belly getting hit by the suicide knob ...

But awesome bonus points for the precise measuring and pics! =)

too big for Soupie? =D

Not sure why, but I found this funny. So did my best friend, Mr. Ed. ...
At first I was like WTF are you talking about? Then I realized my spelling error!

The steering wheel being tilted to the right is NOT a design flaw...

its to compensate for the entire truck listing to port
