I wouldn’t think so, but then again, I’m a resident. Could always call and find out. I saw this truck in person when my buddy picked up his Ranger. Nice looking truck, although not a fan of the side steps.
I was speaking for someone that seen the deal that might have considered driving from out of state. Someone did say "road trip".

Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 06/01/2021. Residency restrictions apply. See dealer for complete details.
I used that promo when I got my SCAB back in December. I owned truck and had possession of the title. That's all the dealer needed to get me the offer. That Ranger was a 97 XL. I traded it in and they gave me an additional 750 on top of the incentive! So yes if you're trading in a brick it's a real good deal! :turkey::turkey::turkey:

I bought March 27, right at the end of the sweet spot. MSRP was 45005 and I got 2700 dealer discount and 3000 manufacturing incentive. Not the absolute best, but a decent price. A month later they went to MSRP no disconts.

the $750 you got might have been an "Select Inventory Rebate", which is for vehicles that have been on the lot 61+ days. I knew about this one, but the dealer tried to screw me out of it.

Is there even $2700 markup in a Ranger?

Not sure, but I don't think so. They had a fully loaded lariat scab. Basically exactly what I wanted, but more really. I think invoice was something like -1500 MSRP give or take. They wouldn't budge on doc fees, and I didn't complain.

I bought like a week or two before that and yes we seemed to have really lucked out on timing. I financed through Ford and got 2500 dealer cash and 2500 incentive plus talked the price down a bit from there. Ended up getting my FX4 XLT black package for about 33,500 sales price for 37,500 out the door. I love the truck but man spending the full $39,000+ TTL would have been a bit too much for me.

Lord forbid someone asked them to give up their holdback too! LOL Yeah, dealer doc fees here aren't negotiable. I think the cheapest one now is $698. One is $999.

My Tremor XLT was $42,140 MSRP. After negotiation/rebates I paid $36K for the truck (not including trade in value, tax, fees). They gave me $15,300 for my 2019 Jetta S M/T which I paid just over $16K for brand new 32K miles ago (so I basically got a free car for 2-years). They tried to get me to pay $1,700 for window tint (just the front windows), "paint protection" (which they didn't do), and "nitro fill" (which I have no evidence of them doing). I ended up having to pay $300 of that attempted rip off charge to get them to let the truck go. I would have done the window tint anyway and that would have cost me about $200 in my area so... paying $100 for convenience isn't the worst thing that's happened to me. I feel I did good!

As for financing, I took their rip off 3.1% (which with my credit and this interest market isn't good) and immediately initiated a refinance with my credit union the same day for 0.98% (their New Car Loan Rate as of now). I'll pay a couple months of the 3% due to the time it takes to set up the car loan and pay it off, but the rest will be the 0.98%... again, worst things have happened to me.

I justified buying the Ranger Tremor because I was going to buy a 2021 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x for $34K OTD with 0% financing but I would have immediately spent about $4K+ upgrading the suspension and tires to my liking (the Ranger is close enough for now) and getting the stereo upgraded to something with Apple Carplay (and Nissan makes replacing the stereo in the Rockford Fosgate-equipped trucks a horrible affair). I liked the engine and transmission combo on the NIssan better... it's actually a great pairing and I think the next gen Nissan Frontier will sell well as a result. I really dislike the looks of the current gen Nissan, but was willing to tolerate it for 0% financing.

Good luck. I hope you find the Ranger you are looking for and at a price you feel is fair. I really like my Ranger and if you get one I think you will enjoy it as well.
I have a 2019 Lariat Scab and love it, just not using the six ft bed as much now that I'm in AZ. Carvana offered me $35,800-$700 over my purchase price in August of last year. Tremors are selling fast in Phoenix, I'll talk the wife into letting me get Ford Fox leveling kit instead?.

In my area doc is 800+. I bought out of state and doc was 499. I tried to get them to remove it, and they told me to f off, more or less. I bit. :)

I wanted to wait for the 2022 Frontier. I call it the Mini Titan. It will be interesting to see the pricing on an "XLT" comparable Frontier. and I agree, the new V6 engine and the new tranny will be well suited for the Frontier..
In the mean time, I got a good deal on the Ranger, and will keep it for now.

Sorry, I didn't notice under your username that you already had a Ranger. All Rangers seem to be selling fast. I mentioned in another thread when I was at the dealer today for service I only saw one Ranger on the lot which was a Tremor. And the dealer I was at has huge inventory of Ford vehicles. It certainly is not a buyers market right now on trucks with all the shortages on new production. Last year when I bought mine it certainly was, great deals and 0% financing. I got lucky with the timing.
