They also did the CDF drum replacement which was the root cause of your issues.

Cool that you got it done for free.99.
I hope you have all issues solved, which you should with this level of work.

If you're still under 36k, you might consider reaching out to Granger Ford and see if you still qualify for an extended warranty. I got mine at the last minute.
I added 7 yrs on to my warranty, I retire in 4 1/2. I figure I can drive worry free into the first 2 years of retirement before I have to worry about a vehicle.

Good point Brett!
How much do those extended warranties run?
I might do same as I'm 5 years out from retirement.

They have a pricing matrix with years down one axis and miles down the other. You pick what's good for you and the price is at the intersection of the two values. I picked 10years/125000 miles. Keep in mind that 10 years is really only 7 beyond the first three. I also had to pay an extra 100 bucks cuz I was actually at 37000 moles and not 36.

I bought mine from Flood Ford. You can input your info from the link below and chose which term and deductible you want and see all the different prices which is only $50 over their cost. If you decided to sell (or total your truck) you will receive the pro rated amount back. I had to use this on my '19 Ranger (totaled the truck) and received a check within a week.

Update August 30th: the procedures outlined in the service report above have solved nothing. Still hesitating and bucking between 12 and 1500 RPM. Back into the shop on the 5th. Fairfield Ford continues to be very accommodating with it. More to follow.

You may have a bad DPFE EGR pressure sensor. It will cause bucking when it is bad. It is a fairly inexpensive fix.

I have to agree here - DPFE Sensor will most likely fix the issue, this goes to show how the transmission and the EGR can give similar drivability issues- and without knowing how the DPFE symptoms show and what to look for in a Live Data drive you can miss it - as this is a no code symptom.
There needs to be a GSB or TSB written on this to highlight to all Ford Techs, look at this because without a code giving direction it will be overlooked, no code - no problem.
We have a few Ford Techs on here who I imagine gained the knowledge of the DPFE bucking issues from this Forum or they have encountered it in another trouble shoot issue on another model, the manuals only direct you to replace it when it codes, so a tech must think outside the box for this issue.
Most on here who have replaced it - it was a shot gunned part and they were successful.

Update September 10th 2024.
Got my truck back out of the shop yesterday. They tested and found a faulty DPFE sensor. Part and labor not under warranty but my dealer worked with Ford to get it done since it was just after the transmission warranty work. So far so good all bucking and hesitation remedied. Knock on wood.
Thanks to those who chimed in with info on my issues.
