295/70/17 on ‘19 ford ranger

Hey whats up i just recently swapped my tires to 295/70/17 from 285/70/17 and not gonna lie it gave me a little more contact surface im just worried that i might need to re gear anyone here have 295/70/17? I

Do you have clearance when you rock the truck while turning? If not you may have to install ReadyLift intrusion bars. Changing the differential gears is a whole other issue. Good luck.

Gears are welded to the carrier in the rear, not as easy as a gear swap unfortunately

There’s some glare in the photo but it looks like he might have already removed his OEM crash bars.

They're gone for sure

I don't think there are any other gears available. Reprogram the tire size in Forscan and the transmission shift points will adjust.

Sorry for the late reply and yes i did cut the crash bars and trimmed the fender liners to mitigate the rubbing so far no rub on these 295s on 2 inch lift and +18 offset wheels

I'm running 295/70/17. I put in a livernois 91 octane performance tune shortly after the tires went on. Woke it right back up. I can smoke the rear tires. No gears needed....yet.
