OUCH but she sure is a great looking truck. I think the new body style is growing on me. Not the price however!
Here is what I priced out:

If the price is not jacked up by a dealer, it really isn't too bad when you look at what you get. You pretty much get everything a Lariat FX4 gets, for $10k more or so?

The price is fine, barring any dealer ADM mark up.

A well equipped ZR2 averages out only about $4,000 less after taxes, but the Raptor gets you the TT V6 motor and a much nicer interior and a few other doo-dads.

I wouldn't have canceled my Job 1 allocation Raptor if not for the writing on the wall (UAW strike). I was ready to move up in truck trim and 6-8 months was my limit in patience. That clearly was not going to happen.

In my case it also saved me money not only on MSRP, but also $5,000 (+ taxes on that) in ADM I was being charged on the Raptor when I snapped up a customer canceled ZR2 already being delivered to a dealer a few states away.

I may gravitate back towards the original plan of buying a Raptor, but only after Ford gets their shit in order (regarding production time lines) and maybe starts cracking down on ADM madness. A majority of Chevrolet dealerships I spoke with charged zero mark up, while in stark contrast, a majority of Ford dealerships were more than happy to charge mark up.

I can stomach a minor ADM based on true rarity and demand, but I'd rather not at all.

Not that I would pay it, but it doesn't seem that bad to me for what you get. My Tremor was $47K and change and that was with the X-plan. That number gagged me :puke: so no way would I pay $58K for a Raptor. But.... for everything you get on the Raptor vs a Tremor it just seems to me the additional $10K is justified. Just my 2 cents.

Now as to that blue... OMG that's one beautiful truck.:clap:

Bit of a rant lol. I think I'm in the minority but in my opinion the non-raptor looks better than the raptor. I'm tired of all the try-hard over stylized trucks that will never spend a day off the pavement or even carry a load in the bed. Also cue stereotypical comment about trucks getting too big & wide. That blue looks really nice though. When I was shopping it was either Rapid Red or Velocity Blue.

Some people have more money than sense. I'm personally not paying that for any truck. My Ranger is paid off and was paid off a couple months after I bought it. $34k. Going back to 2020 I could buy TWO Rangers for the price of one now. No way can it be justified. I just looked at a 2023 King Ranch F150 and it was almost $80k. I'd damn sure get that before a Raptor Ranger to cruise the mall.

Funny you say that. I was at my dealer the other day looking at a Bronco for S&G's. My sales guy (same guy that sold me my truck) was telling me a story on the F150 Raptor R they had. While the guy who ordered the truck was talking with his salesman, another customer walked up who wanted the Raptor R as well, offered the original customer $10k to get up and walk away, and $10k ADM to the dealer to take the truck that day. The OG customer politely declined and he left with the truck he ordered, hopefully it was out of spite lol.
