We bought this brand new with Brake peddle mushy since new
you can push the peddle to the floor when we got it.

We took it back and said you can't sell a truck with no brakes .
They said we will fix it. Got it back the next day and still mushy
we took it to another dealer same thing they tell us it stops and nothing is wrong. That is BS My wife keeps driving it like that .
I drive it This is wrong your going to hit someone. So we took it back again.

Now I am going to try to fix it with Forscan so I did a ABS bleed that took a lot of
mush out Butt you have nothing for half peddle then you feel the brakes .
I hate driving this thing . Any body have a mushy peddle Stealer ship said this is normal.

A soft brake feel is normal on these trucks. Doesn’t mean it’s right or has to stay that way. The ABS bleed only goes so far - it likely only bleeds the master cylinder.

Do yourself a favour Jack - get that bride of yours sitting in the driver’s seat and have her assist you with a proper old-school brake bleed on all four corners.

You will definitely find some air.

I had a f150 you had a 1/2 in of freeplay then you were stopping
I bought a new 24 Ranger and peddle works like it should .
Those Covid Rangers should never left the factory like that

Im going to do a test by lengthen the push rod
But sometimes that can go wrong and the brakes will pump up
and your not going anywhere.

My dealer bled my brakes under warranty, they said they did get air out. Before messing with anything else, get the air out.

Don't do that. Bleed each wheel cylinder starting at the RR, LR, RF, and last, LF. There is likely air in the brake system and bleeding it will raise and firm up the brake pedal.

I can CONFIRM - Bleed the brakes.
I, the same as you had the mushy brake pedal from new, 2 separate dealers inspected and never made it past the - service lane. Its NORMAL and my F150 is the same way.

Now @ 900 miles, me being a former ASE Certified - Brake Technician although it's been some years ago. I was wanting the dealer to address a very dangerous issue and realized that the dealer was going nowhere as on the way home from the 2nd dealer visit, stopped and picked up some (Brake Fluid - DOT 4 LV) and did a complete system bleed myself.
You WILL get a ton of air out of the RR caliper and noted some small amounts in the rest.
If you do this NOTE: ---DOT 4 LV Brake fluid.
So, I wish I would have taken a video to show the 2 separate dealers - the PROOF that this was NOT NORMAL, a new truck with less than 900 miles should not have any air in the system, so somewhere in the assembly line - a process is being missed.

Doing this will raise the brake pedal up and it stops the pedal from dropping so low, that if you on the side of the brake pedal you are not also pressing on the gas pedal. - This happened to me, and it does not help the situation when the design of the (spacing) between the two pedals is so close

I am now just over 3 years of ownership and @ 24,500 miles - NO ISSUES with the brakes.

dealer refused to bleed mine under warranty after i slammed on the breaks in an emergency situation and the pedal dropped to the floor. They told me that was normal function when the abs activates. so i had to pay out of pocket for a "brake bleed" that changed nothing, bought the dongle and used forscan to do the abs bleed procedure myself and the pedal is much more firm now. F*** the dealers in san diego, have yet to find one willingto help me do anything under warranty.

It was my experience that the ABS bleed via Forscan was only temporary, I had them bled after it wore off. I might go back redo it at some point, just for yuks. YMMV.
