Your a punk
Why thank you for the complement sir. But please refer to me using the proper terminology....
I am an "old punk" or "old fart".....I answer to either, and resemble both !!!
Also, check to see if you have the bed tie-downs and rubber hood bumpers !!!

If a CD Player is IMPORTANT for you to have, you do have an option of adding a portable CD Player via the USB Ports as an external media source.

Unfortunately, CD Players in a vehicle now is like looking for a cassette or 8-Track player.

But I dumped my CD collection years ago to my Ipod between that collection and other sourced music I have over 20,000 songs in my collection.
I actually use an old iPhone 3G, and keep it plugged in 24 X 7 for IPOD use only.
Works great with Sync and ZERO issues.

The Left display does have a Coolant Temp Indication, I actually use that screen combined with the Tach and Fuel Gauge.

As Far as Voltmeter, the truck does have one for viewing on the Left Display, however it is only available in Enginering Mode which also included a digital version of the Temp Display.

Note: When in Enginering Test Mode, no other displays are available

I use a voltmeter like this and keep it plugged in 24 x7.

CD players in vehicles have gone the way of the cassette deck. Why would they include them when you can play FLAC files from a memory stick?
I ripped all 1200 of my CDs to FLAC/ALAC, and have no issues playing them from my 1TB SSD with a SATA to USB converter. Sounds so much better than using Bluetooth. I do miss having a CD player though!

I always forget the Lariat gauge cluster looks like that. I'm very glad I got the XLT over it. Love the full analog system, however I do usually have the digital speedo front and center.
Both gauge pods have their pluses and minuses. I do wish on the Lariat cluster that you could put the same info on the ride side as the left side. The right side only has a few functions.

Agreed, that would up the functionality a lot if you could have the RPM on the left and the full MPG/Trip/Empty/Hours page on the Right.

A portable unit with a USB connector will do the job, but why bother? CDs are cumbersome and limited compared to more modern options. I ripped all of my CDs to disk years ago and rarely touch the physical media these days. In my center console are 4 USB sticks and a 32gb MP3 player. There's over a months worth of carefully curated 24/7 lossless music there. It all sounds great through the B&O system.

I guess a newly purchased CD can't be sampled in the car before you get home, but the solution to that minor problem couldn't be more simple.

Wow. I didn't realize that was another decontented item? When I was shopping in 2020, all lariats were equipped with that gauge cluster.

I have the dual screen cluster on my 2018 Ford Edge SEL...! when i took delivery of my ranger last april, I was disappointed with the cluster! dealer told me he was supprised as well and then took a look at the build sheet we made in march 2022 and it was not mentioned that Lariat would have the single screen cluster

We got the Touring and it is a really nice system with great sound. I think it has 10 or 12 speakers and a subwoffer. Sounds much better then my Lariat system.

I never had that many CD's, but I have ripped all of mine as well. I have almost all of my MP3's on an iPod, and could listen to them that way. But I've found that Pandora or Spotify is my go-to for music. It's much easier, and I can select what and who I want to listen to a lot easier than my iPod. But I have to admit, that it took me a while to not having the physical media. Things change, but I'm slow to adapt to it all.
