The dealer found a way to blame your level. What a party pooper. Wouldn't need yi level if they didnt have such high pitch rake stock

I’m not leveled and I have the smell, as well. I do have a catch can installed. When installing it, I found out that they moved one of the PCV connections to the top of the engine… driver side…. I can almost promise this is where your smell is coming from. I’ll see if I can find a picture and you can see if yours is up top, too. They moved it sometime in the 2021 model year.

This is from the thread where I was asking for help with my catch can. Desertranger19 was showing me the new port location for tying in. But, even if both ports for the PCV system are still down low on the engine, behind the driver side wheel, I’d bet money the PCV connections are your culprit.

No we put the lift on 1 week after we bought. I was getting 19.8 driving 55 mph. I know lift and 33 tires brought mileage down to this from 22-24 with stock tires. Lift didn’t cause fuel smell or fuel in oil. They have no reason so blame it on the lift.

I have a catch can on a late 2021 with the connection on top and have a gas smell. I think it’s better if I let it idle for a minute before shutting off the engine.

Have you done anything to correct the speedo error after installing the 33s?

If your connection was loose or not seated properly you would get a MIL thrown. It would detect a vacuum leak.

Not always, believe it or not.
There's a threshold for stuff like this, a mild leak may not be enough to throw a code.

Looks like I have the gas smell too. New 22 Tremor, 2600 miles, just finished an 1853mi trip and started to notice it about 4-5 hours after the trip started. Towed 4096lbs (with ease) the entire way. Completely stock Tremor other than the Roush intake. Smells on the drivers side inside the cabin, and while idling, but goes away when driving.

We started to stop topping off tank after 1 click. We use to click 2 to 3 times. We also change oil every 5000 miles. One day it quit smelling. I’m thinking topping off may been culprit?

I have heard the rangers do not like this. A lot of modern cars actually. With the price of gas anymore I quit topping it up because I don't want precious dollars falling on the ground.
