These are my last two oil changes including the two before that I had previously posted. These two oil changes I used an Amsoil Filter where as the first two I used the WIX XP. All four used the same oil...Amsoil Signature Series 5w30. The base number is lower on these last two. I'm thinking the really harsh heat we had here this summer in south Louisiana might have had a part in that. None of the reports showed any issue with fuel dilution. Like I stated in my other posts, I use my truck for every day errands and Uber. I don't haul or tow anything. I have had a Livernois Tune since 1k and for the majority of the time I have been on the 87-89 Octane tune. Overall everything seems to be doing great and I think I'm going to stick with this combination.

I uploaded it as a file vs a picture. Please let me know if any of you have trouble seeing it.

Looks good but the silicon took a big jump so maybe check your air filter. I'm used to Blackstone's reports but I don't see a fuel dilution number which is most peoples' main concern.

Look at from right to left. The silcone went down but did go up one at the last oil change.

I called them on my first oil analysis and questioned them on the fuel dilution. The reply was they do check it but for some reason they don't put it on the report unless there is an issue. The guy who did my analysis said I have no issues with fuel dilution and to continue doing what I'm doing.

I'd be interested to see you do a chnage and test at 5K miles. Im doing mine at 5k and am waiting on a test result, but would be cool to see the same engine with changes at 5k and 10k.

Thanks for sharing. These are excellent results for 10k mile OCIs! I am using the same oil and have slightly more dilution and similar wear metals at 7k mile OCIs so definitely keep doing what you are doing.

Keeping the truck out of the ridiculously low RPM's that Ford recommends i believe is the key to your excellent oil analyses as it relates to fuel dilution. I keep mine in sport mode and last 2 oil changes were 6 quarts in , 6 quarts back out and no fuel smell..

Sport mode or lockout. 8 & 9 for the win
10-4 and Trailer Tow mode for around town. A little clunky when it downshifts back thru 3-2-1, but it stays 1 or 2 gears lower than Normal mode in 20-50 mph traffic.

You should get your valve body checked out, especially if you are still under warranty. The clunky shifting in 321 is a big time symptom of it going bad.

Well at least fuel dilution isn't bad enough that they can tell what brand of fuel you are using from the oil sample.

Just curious, Is this the somewhat rough shift from 1 to 3? Usually when I first start up and I go the first shift from 1 to 3 is a little rough. I wouldnt say its bad, but is it normal?

For me I had rough up and downshifts, some downshifts it felt like I had been rear ended, and eventually it started getting worse and worse. Now post replacement of the valve body, fluid, several clutch packs and the cdf drum, along with the new software update for the transmission every shift is smooth as silk, it feels like a completely different vehicle. From what I can surmise the valve body started going which then damaged the solenoids and clutch packs which caused further clogging of the valve body and it became a self perpetuating issue. Others have had the same experience as you can no doubt find on here, right now the TSB has them start with the reprogram then doing the valve body overhaul if that doesn't improve it then they escalate from there. If nothing else the new shift algorithm is a massive improvement from before even prior to my transmission annihilating itself

I gotta look into this software update. I took my truck in first a few non transmission services but the dealer never mentioned anything about a software update. Wonder if that's something they do automatically...

If they didn't write it on your paperwork they definitely didn't do it, I believe its a very recent thing.
