Where's the KR symbol at?

Thought for sure there'd be a hand stitched suede insert.

I really like the idea of this build because it’s unique to a Ranger and because you’re making it your own. It’s tough for me to appreciate the aesthetics (colour blind) but how does it all look with the black (?) factory dash. It looks like the seats are 2-tone leather - I really can’t tell - welcome to my world - everything I own is black or grey - just so I don’t get confused. I’m told my truck is black but I can’t be sure. ? And where did/how did you get those floor liners? Custom made?

It’s quite ambitious and I applaud the effort. You must be over the moon. What’s next in this “King Ranch” build? I’m not familiar with that trim level.

Alright so as for the color scheme: in the King Ranch trucks the dash is usually black and grey from what I've seen in pictures of the 2020 f150 King Ranch which is what I modeled this build after. So basically, it looks like it belongs fairly well and the fitment is near perfect.

As for the floor mats, the King Ranch brand has a website where they sell their leather goods and other branded stuff so on a whim I just searched the website for "automotive" and boom. Money babyyy. And for what's next, I need to finish planning the exterior. I'm thinking i should badge it with actual king ranch trim badges. I can get them from a friend at a large local Ford dealership because I need to deal with my factory XLT badging to complete the look of the trim. On top of that, somebody mentioned a tailgate insert to rebadge the tailgate. I love the idea except for the King Ranch tailgate badges are hard to source, too wide for the Ranger, and a little more expensive. Now Ive been kicking around the idea of 3d printing a custom King Ranch tailgate insert although that is another time-whore for another day off. I do want to wrap the entire truck with a 2 Tone paint job like the King Ranch trucks typically have although I'm unsure if I should just wrap the bottom half of the truck in the tan stripe to go with the white top color, or if I should wrap the truck another color on top with the tan stripe below. I'm going to see if I can get the leather on my door panel armrests and center console reupholstered in the same brown as the seats.

I need to put a few things back into the truck (rifle, plates, tools, etc) but after everything is fully completed and installed, I'll post a picture of everything the way it will look as my daily driver. ABSOLUTELY LOVED YOUR COMMENT THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME VENT

Me too. I have to ask my wife what color is this. I'm not gray black, but I'm bad enough that them glasses that are supposed to help told me that I was beyond help.

Sounds like it’s going to be a real gem. That badging’s going to make people think twice. ?

btw - I love the idea of the two-tone livery because it pays tribute to the KR while at the same time paying homage to old school Rangers - not in the same way, but I think you know what I mean.

Looking forward to more updates and final pics. ?

Alright everybody, the 2020 Ford ranger King Ranch interior is complete. The darker color looks MUCH more brown in person so please excuse the photos. I'm very grateful to all of you for the support in getting this far and there is still more to come for my little pickup!
WAY better looking that factory. Nicely done sir!

The seats look good, for sure.

But nothing about them says King Ranch to me. Subtle, which I can appreciate. Perhaps just a bit too subtle.

Indeed. I have plans to bring it a little more flair but I am trying not to overdo it.

Y'all are never gonna believe how I'm about to Jerry rig a King Ranch tailgate and it's actually going to look pretty good if I do it right. Will take time but will keep posted. Stay tuned.

I still believe, that while you're proud of your knock off Ford Ranger King Ranch....tread lightly with your use of trade marks related to KR.
I think if you're not careful, you either will slide under the radar (hard to do publicly on a forum), or you will find a legal dispute on your hands.
King Ranch, doesn't seem shy to head to the courts when their brand is at stake.
Maybe you could have made a KIng Ranch John Deere tractor with little consequence, the fact you are dipping your toes into their truck brand...opens up your infringement on their brand.

Unless the OP starts advertising his mods for sale he is in the clear. It's his vehicle.
If he starts selling KR merchandise then they can come after him.
