I did a quick build on the 2024 for S&G's. I tried to replicate my 2023 (obviously no 6' bed) but this time opting for Azure Grey (such a awesome color ?). Not impressed with the configuration. One plus is that the 2.7 V6 will be available this summer, also 17" wheels were standard (looks like the Tremor wheels) but pretty much everything else, I prefer my 2023. I still can't believe HEATED SEATS AND MIRRORS ARE NOT STANDARD, although the mirrors are power fold, but not heated ?? Also, no Blackout Package, no solid rear glass, and the main issue, no SCAB option. Price wasn't bad though, $43,475 ($1k of that for the Azure grey) compared to $39k for my 2023. I'm pretty satisfied with my 2023 I have no desire for a 2024.

Those of some of the reasons not to buy the first-year model. Hopefully, more options such as SCAB, blackout, and Tremor will be available in the years after first release.

I’m holding out for the Tremor package myself. Even if it’s several years down the road. I know that it hasn’t been officially announced, but Ford would be dumb to not make it. I like the idea of the new Raptor, but the base price is a little off putting….that, and I would never use it for what it is intended for.

Same here, I have no use high speed off road thrills. If I needed more capability I'd spend on a Badlands Bronco instead.

I do like the tow package on the 6G. Just built one on Ford's site. Trailer tow and FX4 packages. Came in at $50,990. Wow.... I'll be keeping my 5G thanks.

Crew cab AND they made the truck wider and longer. BLOAT!
It's not longer. The front axle was kicked out 2 in to accommodate the V6, but the overall length is the same 210.6 in as the 5G.

The heated mirrors thing seems to be a ford thing. I haven’t looked at Chevy but every other manufacturer I look at they have it standard.

I'm just basing it off of my experience with VW. I bought a new 2016 GTI S, which is the base model, roughly a $25k car, and it came with heated seats and mirrors standard. Most of the VW lineup does with one or two odd balls. I just find it ridiculous a $40k truck doesn't have that as standard. I don't use them often but sometimes Oklahoma winter weather, they're needed, especially the heated mirrors for the ice. Curious what other Manufacturers do as well both foreign and domestic.
